Kevin is a musician, yoga/breathwork/meditation teacher, children's book author and entrepreneur. Bend to Balance was born after sitting in silence for 10 days meditating, as a way to bring the amazing world of non-traditional healing art techniques together for positive mindset and thriving mental health. With music as a thread throughout the event, we look forward to creating harmony in community.

Soundshala utilizes sacred sound, breath, movement and meditation to help with inner discovery, optimal health and balance.

The UUFCO has been an important partner over the years and we are honored to have their support for the first annual Bend to Balance. Their support of diverse beliefs and holding the space for networking to happen is a special opportunity for us to balance more easily together.

Continuum Yoga on the West side of Bend will host the opening night Kirtan on Friday 10/10 as well as a full day of classes and workshops on 10/11.

Located on the east side of Bend, Hanai offers a setting that is both sacred and inviting. The acoustics and tall ceilings connect us to something deeper. We are honored to partner with Hanai for this important work.
Bend to Balance is a three day mental health wellness expo & experience on both the East and West sides of Bend…balanced. It will be part class/workshops, part entertainment, part presentation, part networking and fully unique in its delivery…balanced. It will be an opening Kirtan on Friday 10/10, full day event at Continuum, a full day at the UUFCO on Saturday, October 11th and a full day event at Hanai on Sunday October 12th.
Bend and surrounding areas have incredible practitioners in the field of creative arts and mental wellness that will come together for our community to highlight all the different ways mental health can be supported. Sound healing, community singing, men’s and women’s groups, energy circles, psilocybin services are just a few of the more non-traditional avenues that support mental health and often are relatively unknown. This will combine with more established means of mental support from local healthcare organizations, therapists and other established resources. While the vast majority of our population has never been to these lesser known modalities, We feel this is an opportunity to highlight a wide variety of services that support mental hygiene.
This is for everyone who wants to explore ways to take care of their mental health, personal development and psychological outlook on life.
